SATURDAY & SUNDAY, 5 & 6 AUGUST – STOMPIN’ ON THE QUOMPS
‘The largest smooth jazz festival of its kind’.
Unfortunately I was only able to stay for an hour on Saturday. The weather was glorious. There are six pictures below – you can see the dark clouds on the last one, about ten minutes before the torrential rain.
No worry, it all cleared and the day continued, as good as before.
Incidentally, it is thought that the word quomps is made up of quagmire and swamps. Fortunately that is no longer an accurate description, as you can see below.
